Hey, my name is Derian

I grew up in a small town in Mid-Missouri—New Franklin—where my love for agriculture began. The farm taught me what hard work truly looks like: a lot of fence building, feeding cattle, grain-cart hauling, and gate getting—if you know, you know.

After high school, I headed to college in Maryville, Missouri, and later spent a few years in Iowa. I did my share of traveling, and while those seasons pushed me and helped me grow, my heart always knew it belonged back home.

Eventually, I found my way back to Cooper County, where I met my fiancé while working cattle—which feels pretty fitting for us. We’re getting married this June and I will continue helping him and his family on their ranch. The transition from farmer’s daughter to rancher’s wife has made ranch life deeply personal. It’s no longer just part of my day; it’s our lifestyle and a legacy we’re proud to carry forward.

I’ve also become more intentional about growing in my relationship with God. My faith influences what I do and how I serve my clients. I believe the Lord is present in the details—the golden light over the pasture, quiet glances, and the milestones that mark a family’s story.

I’m grateful you’re here and look forward to using photography to help tell your story!
